@fakeart09 The elder gay generation are traumatised by the word. "Queer Bashing" was something that nobody from those times will forget. You can reclaim a word but you must have respect for the origins and that some people will find it offensive.
@_TightWadBill I've been doing some research on personality types that are on either side of the fence. As someone who hates the colder darker weather would you class yourself as extrovert or introvert?
@Sophh_bby You can't erase a person's negative reaction to a word that was used in a violent way for many years, I was around then, it was a scary time for gay people. Just because younger people decided to redefine a word doesn't undo that. He doesn't hate 'queers' he hates the word.
@Kodaliras You've literally been allowed to change language, been let into toilets that aren't assigned to you, onto hospital wards, into opposite prisons spaces, women's refuges. The list goes on. You've been given access to places you shouldn't be. That's a privilege NOT a right.
@_RonnieRockz_@Kodaliras Half? Christ that's optimistic. I'd say it was 95% of the population that don't respect you anymore. That's what happens when you disrespect, push boundaries, force language and ram beliefs down throats. Respect is earned, not given. Welcome to what you earned.
@_RonnieRockz_@Kodaliras That's called a human right. It applies to everybody. Again, just because you're diFeRreNt it doesn't make you sPeCiaL. You don't want equal rights to everyone else, you want preferential treatment and privilege. Everybody is tired of your behaviour.
@Prursrsry@Razamataz144 Shes an entitled wanker of a black woman who deserves no grace whatsoever. She is horrific. Just because she's black we need to offer grace? GTFO The woman lied about a conversation & thinks she's special. I hope she gets boo'd relentlessly on leaving.
@SquidgeZee@Sunyoung3121@parkinglotbutch Nobody is misgendering you. You are misgendering yourself. Your upset stems from you being so self absorbed and entitled that you can't see past your own feelings and confusion to realise that 99% of the planet don't accept the change of language you require.
@SquidgeZee@Sunyoung3121@parkinglotbutch I will never use she/her to refer to a man. I will never use he/him to refer to a woman. Never in my 60 years on this planet has any group of people ever asked me to change my language to prevent 'feelings'. I don't care how you feel. I am using the correct words. YOU are not.
