Jay Willams says Jalen Brunson is the antithesis of what fanbases think about the NBA right now:
“He’s the antithesis. Well, guys are overpaid, he’s not overpaid. You think about other things teams are tanking, they didn’t tank they built it the right way, they built the right culture around that. Load management, when is he load managing? “Oh I hurt my pinky toe I can’t play.” This dude hurts his knee, he hurts his ankle, he comes back in and he closes a game down the stretch. You tell me this guy at 6’1, 6’2 isn’t the most likable player in the NBA right now, how do you root against a guy like that.”
Jalen Brunson on if he ever felt imposter syndrome:
"The only time is probably my rookie year...playing pickup with the team in Dallas and then obviously watching Luka doing his thing so effortlessly. That was probably the only time and it made me kind of question myself to see how hard I actually I had to work to be in the position that I wanted to be"
This guy has gone through so much heartbreak and tragedy in his life and still continues to be the classiest and kindest player in the league and for his community what a great person man
Charles Barkley thinks all these different streaming services to watch NBA games is disrespectful to NBA fans:
“I think Adam Silver has to get a hold of this thing. I think the games are too disjointed right now. NBC, Peacock, Amazon, I think we have disrespected the fans. They don’t know when the games are on. I just think that’s really unfair to the fans.”
