@s_ridenour lmao we tried that in germany and it went precisely how you would expect: the companies pocketed the profits and gas prices are still mostly way above what people in neighboring countries pay.
@coopercooperco also building one yourself really is the way to go, especially if you want a split layout. if you want a fun little 65% kit (not split) to try it out, the nibble 65 is pretty cool.
@coopercooperco i've heard bad things about drop. other than that, it depends on your budget, really. mode designs if you want to get fancy. kbdfans, novelkeys or keychron's q-series for cheaper offerings. don't buy from keychron directly though, their customer service is meh.
