interesting that Hemingway is so often seen with cats, never with a dog.
it's delightful to visit the Hemingway House in Key West where beautiful confident cats roam at will, & visitors are allowed to pet them.
upstairs, a (manual) typewriter at a standing desk. how forlorn the writing life truly is, & how much more lonely & pointless it would be without cats.
