We first met Thato in May, when she invited us to join this special event. She runs Lacquer Nail & Beauty Clinic and, twice a week, she hosts elderly women for beauty treatments.

We found over 10 Ethiopian nationals inside this illegal spaza shop warehouse in Mamelodi. One man was found hiding on top of a packet of chips, while others were found under a mattress. Some of their persists have expired. What is worrying is the condition of the food packaging. There’s no adherence to health protocols. @CityTshwane
