@JamesTMaw Those words should haunt Lange for the rest of his career, whether we stay up or not. Him and Vinai shouldn’t be allowed within 50 miles of WHL next season. Should never work in football again. Beyond description what they have done to this football club.
@VFTLpodcast@dannykellywords Gutted to hear this Danny, but your message is spot on.
Your long history supporting Spurs, as well as your passion and knowledge, combined with your razor sharp humour and rapport you have with the team make VFTL unmissable. Get well soon, come back stronger 💪. COYS
@JackPittBrooke Gutted to hear this. VFTL won’t be the same without you Danny. The whole team is brilliant, but your long history supporting Spurs, along side your passion, knowledge, wit and humour makes VFTL unmissable. Get well soon 💪COYS
@RickySacks@SpotliteOnSpurs@Billie_T Keep up the good work Ricky. Along with VFTL, two best Spurs pods out there. Wish I was listening in between circumstances. Cannot get my head round what is going on at this club. I hope we can all look back in years to come and say we can never go back to what we were then.
@RickySacks@LastWordOnSpurs I don’t recognise the club anymore. Talentless, rudderless, leaderless, on and off the pitch. Been supporting Spurs since 1987, we’ve had some poor teams in that time but this lot take it by a mile. The board should should clear out tonight. Wanton neglect on a grand scale
@LastWordOnSpurs No other club in the supposed “big six” has got remotely close to fighting relegation, post the 2008 City takeover. Shameful neglect from the board how it has come to this. The derby was alway competitive, always fancied us at home & to battle away. Twice yearly humiliation now
@AlasdairGold Diabolical. A fixture that was always competitive in the past, shameful neglect how it’s come to this. Come to Spurs, we’ll roll over, get your title charge back on track allowing a player who’s bang out of form to score 2 & another who has struggled in his first season score 2
@FootballCliches He’s having a meeting with Jennifer Taylor-Clark, and Finchy calls and leaves a message. “Chris Finch. Bloody good rep”. Uses a homophobic slur to address Brent and says give Jennifer one from me. “Uhhh,..awful”
@HotspurRelated “We get a lot of detail”. That’s the key line for me. These are PL footballers, they should be able take on different tactical instructions game to game and also changes in game, and execute them accordingly. Something that was lacking under Ange too often. So far so good. COYS
@LastWordOnSpurs The most pivotal moment in Spurs’ recent history. The steady decline can be traced back to that summer. Ferguson never rested on his laurels, always strengthening/ refreshing squads. The arrogance within the Spurs hierarchy to think they could compete without investing
@AlasdairGold Defo Ange in. The knee jerk reactions to losses are ridiculous. Young team Ange is working with. Ceiling is so high, it’s about maturity, mentality and consistency. Talent in the squad not in question. Front foot brilliance first half, superbly managed the 2nd. COYS
@JackPittBrooke Udogie was so clearly rattled why not bring Spence on? Why are the first changes after 75 mins when it was clear after 5-10 into the second half we had totally lost control? Just a shambolic 2nd half. Defending for the third goal; wouldn’t see that in the Isthmian league
@AlasdairGold I think some people think games are played like a computer game, forgetting how bloody hard the PL is. As long as they put in 100% every week we back them, and if they’re not good enough, that’s identified by the coaches and they should get moved on.
@AlasdairGold Where are the Johnson Haters now? F’ing idiots. Never understood the mentality of “fans” abusing players thinking that will make them want to play for club. Fair play to Brennan coming getting his head down and through a tough period COYS
@simonyemane@spursFanop To think there was a small clamour for him to be moved on by some last season. Players apparently robots who are never allowed a dip in form. The guy is so good. Must have one of the best engines in the PL. Proper player
@knockemdownes Isn’t that the point? The shot and the falling over is a causal relationship. Without the shot, no panicked scrabbling back, no loss of balance and falling over. Thus credit to Alonso for for vision and taking a chance
