The Ravens, Seahawks, and Broncos are the only teams that have never had the No. 1-overall pick.
The Ravens are the only franchise that has never had a top-3 pick.
Something to be proud of.
@sgellison You can say it, the offense left the defense out to dry, they played their asses off the entire second half and basically all of OT, seemed like they barely even got off the field before they were running back out there because the offense looked allergic to the football/1st down
Perhaps no unit is impacted more by getting (or not getting) time together is the o-line. Those guys need time to develop chemistry, and only one starter played in the preseason. So, I'm willing to be patient. But my goodness, they need to be at least a lil' better by the 2nd half.
27 years ago today, the Ravens brought football back to Baltimore, facing off against the Raiders at Memorial Stadium
The Ravens would win 19-14 behind Vinny Testaverde, Earnest Byner, Ray Lewis and Matt Stover, starting the franchise’s storied history
Don’t forget, the Washington Commanders didn’t care about the Ravens’ 24-game preseason win streak.
That’s why they played their first-team offense against the Ravens’ second- and third-team defenses for the entire first half.
That’s also why G Sam Cosmi went from saying nobody gives a “s**t” about the “stupid record" … to doing The Griddy in the end zone when his starting unit scored on Ravens backups.
That’s why K Joey Slye gestured an L to the sideline after his game-winning field goal.
That’s why new co-owner Magic Johnson posted about how much fun it was to break the streak.
That’s why WR Jahan Dotson said in the locker room afterward: “I feel like we just had the biggest preseason win in history.”
It’s all because they didn’t care.
