Just a good news thread. At the age of 35 my husband was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma. He had chemo and the cancer came back in less than a year. Then he underwent, what was then, a brand new untested treatment, a stem cell transplant. His prognosis wasn’t great and we wondered if he would live to see our son graduate from high school. Well, he got to see him graduate, get married, have three kids and watch them grow up too. Today is my husband’s 68th birthday! Cancer doesn’t alway win.
