@wrowclif I live out in the middle of nowhere with far more than a half acre. But I do ride around.
On the gravel road to my house, though, lives a little old lady who was elderly when we moved in 25 years ago. She push mows her multiple acres every day it seems.
She seems to like it.
@MaxMcGuireCPA They did it because it's what we want.
Where I am, teachers still receive a pension. But you look at that pension account and see a lot of money it and wish you could just invest it how you want.
And you can. And some do. And thus lose their pension.
@handmadeshoesia@wrowclif My oldest did this. When I tried to substitute for her mom at night so her mom could get sleep, I gave her bottle after bottle of water. Those diapers were full in the morning.
Would not recommend.
@wrowclif I like to mow. I've got philosophical issues with it because I'm not sure why I think it's okay to lop off all those flowers before they reproduce and in the process destroy multiple habitats for mice, bugs, and etcetera.
But I like to do it.
@PunkyCovfefe@GrindeOptions Here I thought it was because it was election day and somebody was trying to convince us that whoever is in charge shouldn't be.
I guess I should have realized local ND politics might not have that big of an impact on the market.
@Daniel_Spenrath@jmhorp Well -- except BLS data actually says $29.98. Times 40 and times 52 is $62,350.
$35 x 40 x 52 = $72,800.
This really isn't hard math.
@BoyMeetsBurr@shagbark_hick 27mph is the standard. In both my '19 Prius and my '23 Tacoma, I do this regularly. But I've also done it in a wide variety of vehicles. My first was a '73 Chrysler. I have been in a few that won't kick in until higher, but it's rare.
27mph in a Prius gives phenomenal mpg.
@CoachAGochis When I moved to higher ed, one thing that struck me is that nothing ever lasts more than 50 minutes unless it is a very small meeting with < 5 people and it was agreed upon ahead of time.
Plus -- I have multiple degrees and never took notes after my freshman year in 1992.
