The answer: under capitalism, yes.
"the 'natural' wealth distribution in a free-market economy is one of complete oligarchy. It is only redistribution that sets limits on inequality."

Saw somebody on reddit complain about the word "allo-cis-hetero-normativity" as being like "y'all'd've" for gay people, and therefore bad in its compound complexity.
I, for one, am anti-dis-y'all'd'nt've-nificationism.
I'm just honestly kind of wrecked right now by the fact that the rats the landlord let infest the place in order to force people to leave ended up getting into my magic card collection and d&d stuff and just ruining them. Maybe thousands of dollars trashed.
@jcb10 The sheriffs will come and evict at gunpoint a tenant that doesn't pay rent, but he gets to do whatever he wants. Enter the house to yell at people with no notice. Wreck appliances. Take things and put them on the street. Turn off the power intermittently. Seriously.
He's been sued in the past and lost. But, because he doesn't have a bank account that can be seized and he lives in the basement so the property can't be seized... there are literally no consequences for him. He can just keep doing this to people.

Not a leftist, but this is a good model in how to talk to voters you want to win over.
Reminds me of door I knocked in 2004. Just explaining I could not understand what the voter had gone through, he told me he appreciated my empathy and lack of pandering.
Can we get a refund on the police? We pay them a ton of money and they don't do anything.
In fact, they've learned the less they do, the more we give them. It's the ultimate scam.
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff took to social media once again on Friday to call for increased police staffing, saying San Francisco must βrefund the policeβ to keep businesses and homes safe. https://t.co/aytobOLX7X
In a city riddled with corruption, where the departments which do answer to the mayor often don't do their jobs at all, what possible argument is there that this would help??
San Franciscans are proud of our city but increasingly frustrated with our local govt, especially with SF's current challenges. Today, I'm introducing a Charter Amendment package of common sense reforms that would improve how City Hall governs and delivers for the people of SF.π§΅
