@NMercad You think they want to win back trust? The ones that actually do are being forced out. The rest are on board with naked attempts to seize power because there's been no real consequence for their actions. Even yesterday, they booed the reporter and her colleagues moved on.
Wilson isn't good. But I'm not sure any QB available could look good with this line and this play calling. There's no magic wand or available player fixing this.
Two things can be true: Zach Wilson isn't good and the offensive scheme is a disaster that makes him even worse. They run unimaginative plays, end up on third and long and then have him have to pass behind a bad o-line.
Move the pocket. Have designed plays where he gets outside if it to take advantage of his athleticism. But there wasn't any of thar yesterday. Drop back and watch the pocket collapse.
It's not just Wilson. The same line got Rodgers hurt in 4 plays.
@TweetStemkowski As much as I think Wilson is bad... what is this scheme? His receivers are covered and he's locked in the pocket behind a bad o-line. Can they roll him out? Get him on the move?
@TweetStemkowski I mean if it's something like contact to the helmet or below the knee being the reason for the flag, I could see it. But I find it hard to believe anything else would be worth reviewing.
@TweetStemkowski Oh so am I. But mine is "just let Zach Wilson be below average and not the worst QB in the league! He was kind of that when Hall was healthy last year..."
@TweetStemkowski Not sure what else you can do. The other options are also terrible and don't know the offense.
Best hope is Wilson makes slight improvements and Hall is healthy. That's probably good enough for the playoffs if the defense stays mostly healthy.
@aj_joven I can't tell if the vitriol about Klopp and Liverpool are sour grapes about a reduced role, or his bosses having him get some shots in cause they're pissed Liverpool won't sell Salah. Maybe both?
@aj_joven I'm more cynical. The interview was a standard sportswash (defending Qatar too!) He took the money, has a job to do as part of it. Throw out the company line -"live and let live!" (Except when one side believes the other should die) But he knows that.
