The best tribute to Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar is -India fully eradicate dry latrines, abolish manual scavenging by bringing in Sewer Cleaning Machines, adopt Sewerage system in every rural settlement. Sad that, there were over 1500 deaths of Manuel scavengers in the past 10 years
🚨 Single vaccine could shake the global cancer industry to its core
China is preparing to approve Russia’s groundbreaking cancer vaccine, a development that could disrupt the $2.6 trillion Western oncology market. This vaccine, designed to target and train the immune system to attack cancer cells, represents a major shift from traditional treatments like chemotherapy and radiation. If widely adopted, it could transform how cancer is prevented and treated around the world.
Unlike conventional therapies that often damage healthy cells and come with severe side effects, this vaccine works by boosting the body’s natural defences. Early trials suggest it can slow tumor growth, prevent recurrence, and potentially improve survival rates, offering hope to millions of patients who have limited treatment options.
The economic implications are massive. Western pharmaceutical companies have long dominated cancer care with treatments generating billions in revenue annually. A safe and effective vaccine from Russia, endorsed and distributed by China, could challenge this dominance, making accessible, cost-effective cancer care available on a global scale and shifting the balance of the industry.
Beyond economics, the approval highlights a new era in medicine where prevention and immune system empowerment take centre stage. It reflects growing global collaboration in research, innovation, and healthcare solutions, potentially reducing cancer mortality while making therapies faster, safer, and more affordable.
This historic step is a reminder that medical breakthroughs can reshape industries and save lives simultaneously. As the world watches, a new chapter in cancer treatment is emerging—one where science, accessibility, and hope may finally align for millions around the globe.

In an op-ed in @IndianExpress @RahulGandhi slammed business monopolies. But the real monopolies are in politics.
India’s startup founders aren’t dynasts. Political bosses are the real monopolists—mum, son & daughter in parliament.

@Indian10000000 @ProsaicView Great article sir. You have rightly emphasized the Regional approach, growing trees - for carbon Sequencing, and mindfully tacking and tracking each sector that is polluting.
Demonstration of futuristic, world class enginnering in Bihar.
They pump water from a low lying areas onto the road, road has drainage that brings the water back to the low lying area. So ingenious
Article 352 gives the president the power to declare an Emergency if there is a threat of war or armed rebellion. In June 1975 there was neither. To seek refuge in semantic technicalities of Art 352 is disgraceful.
Indira Gandhi declared the Emergency because the Allahabad HC held her guilty of electoral malpractice in the 1971 Lok Sabha election against Raj Narain. She faced a 6-year electoral ban.
The Emergency was not only unconstitutional (it did not meet the standard laid out in Article 352) and undemocratic but deeply
amoral. It subverted the SC, suspended habeas corpus (the legal right to life & liberty), censored the media & jailed over 1 lakh opposition leaders, journalists & activists.
Anyone who calls the Emergency constitutional is being both disingenuous & dishonest.

While no one was watching, RBI has shifted 100 tonnes of its gold reserves back to India from UK. Most countries keep their gold in the vaults of the Bank of England or some such location (and pay a fee for the privilege). India will now hold most of its gold in its own vaults. We have come a long way since we had to ship out gold overnight in 1991 in the midst of a crisis.

Iqbal Masih was a Pakistani boy who was sold into bonded labor at the age of four.
For six years, he was forced to weave carpets for 12 hours a day, seven days a week, for pennies.
At age 10, he escaped and helped free 3,000 other children from slavery.
After being freed, Iqbal became an activist against bonded child labor. He traveled the world to speak out against child labor. On April 16, 1995, when he was 12 years old, Iqbal was shot and killed.
