@AJA_Cortes The mind/muscle connection is paramount for illumination of the path towards intelligent training with respect to exercise selection, weight, reps, and form which may take unique expression.
@AJA_Cortes As you age (63) pain and discomfort with potential for injury direct exercise selection and form just to get from one workout to the next for example lateral raises using lighter weight with a higher arc that remains within the zone of tension without dropping slack at the bottom
@Bartek_Kamyk_ Currently 3-5 plates, 3-6 sets, 4-5x a week. Each set consists of 15 "proper" reps, 50 partials, 50 assisted partials, finished with 10 sissy squat "leg presses" for maximum assistance with full stretch and pause.. absolutely brutal. Only way to make these scrawny MOFO's respond.
@KingVelesI@SigmaKing10 From what I have gathered of your content we are pretty much on the same page… as I make the shift to full time van life alone in the wilderness… much more so as far as equipment goes too
@bowtiedmeathead I swear by 12 minutes intense pre cardio which I am able to carry for the majority of the lifting session… both get maxed out without any compromise. I love nailing the balance between the two… with the results to verify.
@Bartek_Kamyk_ At my age I make noises getting up from the damn couch, so I don't give a fuck when they happen in the gym... deal with it motherfuckers.
