오늘도 그곳엔
대양을 바라보는 등대가 있다

외로운 듯 해도
바람과 별과 달이 함께한다

바다가 사나워지면
항로지기는 더 활기차게 빛난다

야간 항로에서 위험지역을
안전하게 안내하며 역활을 다한다

어두운 항로 뱃사람들의 눈이되어
빛의 언어로 한결같은 친구로 거기있다

In commemoration of the Battle of Hafrsfjord in 872, when Harald Fairhair united Norway into one kingdom, three colossal bronze swords now stand as a monument. Designed by Fritz Roed , and located just south of Stavanger, the monument was unveiled in 1983 by Norway’s King Olav to honor this historic event.
