@ESPNNBA @KendrickPerkins What makes you think the pacers want to tank for a high draft pick? They just traded their highest draft pick since 1988, and may very well lose the 2026 lottery pick. I think they’re fine with building outside the draft. Their 1st rd picks have been horrible historically.

@PacersKev @mcuban @Pacers Tanking can be just as exciting as a playoff run for a small market team that has no plans on dipping into the luxury tax. But it seems like the Pacers don’t care about the 1st rd of the draft as much as the open market after trading Mathurin and leaving the 2026 pick to chance.
