Mrs. Kluever's 4th grade class has been receiving mail from our nation's national parks! students have enjoyed reading responses to the questions they had asked.
Third grade had another visit from Ms. McMillan for Ag in the Classroom! Students learned how farming is tied to the greatest food ever...PIZZA!! They enjoyed a fun game, learning about where all their favorite toppings come from and how much work it takes for farmers.
This is a reminder that Bureau Valley Schools will have an SIP day tomorrow and will dismiss at 11:00am. There will be no lunch served.
PreK PM will attend from 8:00-10:30.
A few weeks ago, 4th grade wrote letters to national parks. This week, we have started getting letters back! Rylan wrote to Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska and Alexa wrote to Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee.
This morning we had three visitors from our high school's FFA. They are celebrating National FFA week this week, and came 2 visit us this morning. The FFA was nice enough to provide each 3rd grade student a book called "Farmer George Plants a Nation." Thanks Kate, Ella, & Peyton!
Mrs. Henegar's class had so much fun when Humphrey visited their classroom! He read all about gross foods, added mixed numbers, and got to try out the slide at recess! Thanks for visiting, Humphrey!

Humphrey, from our district story, visited Mr. DeMay and his students again for the day! Humphrey got to learn about about the inventions of Edison, coding on a computer, and today was the first day of roller skating! He really enjoyed his time skating! On to 4th grade tomorrow!
Humphrey visited Mrs. Dye's 2nd grade class today! He learned about Helen Keller, practiced his math facts, helped draw a picture in Art and enjoyed PE and Music. He attended the Q and U wedding and enjoyed our Valentine's Day party with us! We had a great day!

Kindergarten Pre-Registration will be February 20th - 23rd for any student who will be 5 years old before Sep. 1, 2024.
Registration packets were sent home with our current qualifying PK students. If you have a student who didn't receive a packet please contact the office.
