One year after the release of Apple Maps, there were 136.7 million Americans with iOS or Android. During this time, Google Maps users decreased to 58.7 million, while Apple Maps gained 35 million new users.

One of the things I love about doing about a newsletter, is uncovering and directing readers to new voices, ideas, things sitting below the surface. Thinkers and doers on the rise. Conversations which haven’t yet formalised into press ready trends yet. And then some of these wake up Friday to a little surprise and delight of being mentioned, getting new followers, awareness of what they're up to and potentially new customers.
