Regional Champions!
To see these guys commit to competing each and every pitch, even after dropping game 1 was amazing.
God was so Faithful to supply strength throughout the weekend. To Him be the Glory. Let’s keep going.
My biggest regret as an athlete is that I was consumed about personal accolades and fame, and was not concerned about my teammate’s spiritual condition.
I was obsessed with being an All-American, when in reality I could’ve been obsessed with lifting my teammates up in prayer.
Think about the true stuff.
Think about the honorable stuff.
Think about the things of justice.
Think about the pure stuff.
Think about the lovely stuff.
Think about the commendable stuff.
Think about the excellent stuff.
Think about the things worthy of praise.
Think about God

Man, choosing to think about how well a situation can go rather than how badly it could be is a very hard mental battle. So hard, but totally worth it.
Two questions I’ve been trying to ask myself more often
1) Am I keeping it simple or over- complicating things?
2) Is my tech (social media, texts, movies) controlling me or am I in control of it?
You don’t learn from experience, you learn from reflecting on experience.
@ATTACKATHLETICS encourages us to ask ourselves:
Why did I lose?
Why am I down here?
What do I need to do differently next time?
“In April 14, 2010, I showed up at the clubhouse with a Bible sitting on my chair in my locker. Changed my life. It’s the Bible I read out of today.”
Beautiful story from former Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter on Adam Wainwright.

Loved every second of the talk, gonna be listening to it on repeat over the coming months. Thank you!
So here I am, embarking on a new season.
A season that will likely be my last. A season that is uncertain.
But, I can choose how to respond to this uncertainty:
- Will I let anxiety run its course, leading me to fear and shame?
- Or will I choose gratitude and experience joy?
