We have so many leadership problems w/in evangelicalism b/c we (congregations, boards, etc.) choose leaders for the wrong reasons.

@adadintheburbs @amart2468 @edutopia I also teach students social studies. It can be incredibly hands on and the phone can be used as a helpful tool. All about the approach.

@adadintheburbs @amart2468 @edutopia I agree folks can’t self regulate well when it comes to tech. I’m asking if education is necessary for phone usage as we would educate to drive a car. If yes, then teaching how to use in the classroom is a must.

@timkellernyc I try to understand why they hold those viewpoints. The Gospel is Pertinent to every platform, therefore, me approaching them in humility, where they’re coming from allows me to see what they value and show how Christ redeems our broken values.

4)the family unit was already broken on a mass scale as the stabilizer in the culture. When then the next stabilizer, society itself, stopped functioning normally it sent kids into a tailspin.

My thoughts, for what they’re worth, on #teaching post pandemic.
1) #teachers were amped at the prospect of normal so we went 100 mph to do what we’ve missed The past 2 years.
2) We expected our students to be in step with us picking up where we, the teacher, left off. Follow⬇️⬇️
