Another tremendous voting lawsuit from America First Legal in Arizona!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 The cartel lawyer Adrian Fontes is attempting to put misleading language about the election integrity ballot proposition in the voter guide, so AFL's @JamesRogersAZ has sued him. The first allegation makes me the angriest. Former corrupt MaRICOpa County Recorder Stephen Richer used to repeat the lie that voters must show proof of citizenship in order to register to vote in federal races, which is one of the hugest problems with keeping Arizona's elections honest.🤬🤬🤬🤬

The complaint alleged that Fontes’ description violated A.R.S. 19-125(D) in three ways. First, AFL said that even though Fontes’ description could use up to 50 words, he used only 28 words and failed to mention a key provision of the proposed law, that only citizens may register to vote and cast ballots. Currently, there is no requirement in Arizona law that noncitizens show proof of citizenship in order to register to vote in federal races.

Second, AFL said the language describing a “yes” vote erroneously claims that the proposed law is redundant. Fontes’ description said Prop. 144 is “similar to prohibitions that already exist in federal law.” AFL said, “That editorial comparison appears nowhere in Proposition 144’s text and misleadingly suggests to voters that the provision is redundant.” Federal law only prohibits foreign money in elections, whereas Prop. 144 pertains to all types of spending to influence elections, AFL said.

Third, “[C]lause (5)’s ‘may make it harder to challenge election laws’ is a contested legal conclusion and litigation prediction, not a statement of the essential change in existing law, and it mischaracterizes Section F’s text,” AFL asserted.

🚨 CARTEL CRACKDOWN IS REAL

The Trump administration is coordinating directly with Mexico to hit the cartels hard.

Border Patrol and Mexican forces are running joint operations along the Rio Grande. Crossings are at historic lows. Cartels are feeling the pressure and getting more aggressive as a result.

Designating cartels as terrorist organizations is giving prosecutors more tools to go after the entire network — not just the top guys.
