@drakesmith__ Buy 3 gloves at a time and rotate each shot, never let it get sweaty. Also have dedicated range gloves. I used to blow through gloves like crazy in the Arizona heat but now I can’t believe how long they last. Baby powder in the gloves helps too.
@jimTHEsim24@StephenRoche100@practicalgolf Yes, good putting will lower your score. The point is that counting putts per round doesn’t tell you anything important. 36 putts per round could be great or terrible putting depending on how far from the hole they were.
@StephenRoche100@practicalgolf Putts per round means nothing. How long were all the putts? How many greens were hit? You can have 36 putts and shoot 72 or 90, it has no correlation to score.
@SamNissim@practicalgolf Having a clear shot to the green is all that matters. Being in the rough isn’t changing your score much unless it’s really thick/deep. Keep track of Ball in Play (BIP) rather than fairways hit. Clear shot to green from grass around your average distance = good drive.
