@BGeltzNBA Morey's biggest failure is extending broken down Embiid. But just as bad is the cheap but talented players he ran out of Philly on his watch - Reed, Joe, McCain, Champagnie, who all contributors on championship contenders. Yes, the owners are also to blame for this.

@Sean_Barnard1 Morey never wanted him. The only reason he wasn't traded at the 2025 trade deadline is because of his season ending injury.

So, the people need to keep asking is why & how does Daryl Morey still have a job with the Sixers. He should have been fired for the Embiid extension.

@Brodes81 @SportsRadioWIP This same type of thing happened last year during the opening of free agency. The team wasn't as good last season. Can't expect it to be when so many quality players have to be allowed to walk away because of salary cap issues. Its disappointing but necessary.

On a night when the #Sixers get blown out by 40 at home, two guys Daryl Morey didn't think was good enough to be in Philly were lighting it up in Chicago. The Thunder got a combined 15 of 30 for 39 points from Isaiah Joe & Jared McCain. Philly didn't need them. Thanks Morey!

@gabrielgdc_ @Sam_Vecenie Or maybe not playing Maxey & VJ 40 plus minutes most games. The bottom line is Nurse wasn't a fan of McCain. Nurse, reluctantly, had to use him at the beginning of last season because of injuries. Even then there were rumors of McCain possibly being traded, until he got hurt.

@RBPhillyTake Does a minutes restriction on Embiid really matter? He no longer tries to rebound or play defense. That man isn't good enough to lead the Sixers any longer. Injuries & time have robbed us of "Prime Embiid ". Personally I hope he medically retires so the team can reset & move on.

@SportsRadioWIP The #Eagles surrendered 281 rushing yards yesterday. You'd think that would motivate the DC to find Campbell some snaps since obviously the guys playing weren't getting the job done. Its just another head scratching decision from a dysfunctional team.
