The Social Welfare Society (President Lee Bongwon) announced that actor Byeon Wooseok's fandom, 'Byeon Wooseok and TTE', held a donation relay from the 15th to the 21st to support vulnerable elderly individuals in spending a healthy summer.
With the sponsorship fund of approximately 3.7 million won raised through this, the fandom prepared 'Summer Healthy Food Kits'. On the 24th, they packed the kits at the Dongbaekkkot Senior Welfare Center and delivered them to the homes of vulnerable elderly individuals.
Sixteen fandom members participated in the volunteer activity on this day. The members personally packed 80 'Summer Healthy Food Kits' consisting of samgyetang, porridge, side dishes and liquid diets, and visited the homes of the elderly to deliver them.
This activity was arranged to support the summer health management of elderly people living alone and to contribute to the spread of a caring culture in the local community.
A fan who participated in the volunteer work said, "By personally writing messages of support, visiting the homes of the elderly, and delivering the summer kits, I was able to feel the meaning of sharing even more deeply." They added, "Though it is a small sincerity, I hope it brought warm comfort and strength to the elderly, and I want to continue participating in sharing that delivers a good influence in the future."
President Lee Bongwon of the Social Welfare Society stated, "The sight of going beyond donation to personally visit the site and share hearts with neighbours is a good example of a healthy fandom culture." He added, "The Social Welfare Society will also continue its meticulous support so that vulnerable elderly individuals can spend the summer healthily and safely."
The Social Welfare Society is steadily developing the 'Fan Donation Campaign', where fan clubs formed out of affection for stars help the socially vulnerable on special days such as anniversaries or birthdays. Through this, it is contributing to the spread of a positive fandom culture where fans participate in sharing.
Byeon Wooseok's fandom, Byeon Woo-seok and TTE, started their first donation relay in 2024 to commemorate Byeon Wooseok's fan meeting. Afterwards, in 2025, they did not limit themselves to special anniversaries but continued sharing in daily life, and in August of the same year, they joined as the 37th member of the 'Honors Club', a group of high-value donors of the Social Welfare Society. In 2026, they are continuing their good influence by practicing various forms of sharing, including supporting school supplies for children facing difficulties preparing for the new school year, supporting new sports activities and meals for people with disabilities, and supporting vulnerable elderly individuals to spend the summer.
