Murray Watt is due to release the conditions this week on the 40 yr extension of the North West Shelf gas project. Watch these conditions carefully. Watt says the conditions will be "strict". Truly strict should include reducing nitrogen oxide and sulphur oxide emissions to zero.
The WA Government released a report that said Woodside's North West Shelf isn't to blame for eroding the rock art at Murujuga.
But the data IN THE SAME REPORT contradicts that claim!

Most in the Heritage sector in Western Australia have long known that normal global heritage protection systems have never been implemented in WA. Now the UN agrees. The fix is easy - WA should set global standards, not ignore them.
