@asymmetricinfo I'm thinking it may also be the rise of Christianity. Wasn't pagan practice to sacrifice large animals and dole out random cuts to the community? Hence for Romans fish (generally not sacrificed) were high cuisine and meat from big animals more like the host in church.
@HorrorsGreeley@vbspurs They aren't our therapist, they aren't anyone's therapist, and no one gave them permission to be a therapist. It's practicing without a licence!
Every county could have these exemptions if their voters supported the trade-offs, but they don't! There's a reason we have different state and local elections. Imagine if the federal government was equally involved with Florida's budget.
Pasco County
2018 taxes — $251 million
2025 taxes — $609 million
Population growth: 25%.
65.2% of homesteads in Pasco will be completely exempt from property taxes under the initial $250k exemption.
@Michael_Haz@bitmaelstrom Considering this information was originally asked for by Democratic officials, of the Democratic candidate's wife, it's kind of hard to figure out who they are mad at.
@Michael_Haz And 65% of their meat eaters were listed as protein deficient! Clearly even the people eating meat there are having problems (or there's a measurement issue).
I also don't think of Indian food as particularly healthy. Lots of fats and carbs, and in India there are issues with food safety. I hear stories of heavy metals being found in some of their spices. And they have their own version of traditional medicine with some interesting treatments (think cow dung and urine).
@vbspurs Sounds like they're selling access to their private lives, and it's all made up. I guess that's one way of coping with it: know everything is a lie and not even bothering to keep the lies straight.
