“Are you better yet???”
Chronically ill people hear this all the time from those who can’t comprehend the “chronic” nature of living with disabilities.
We aren’t getting “better”
Sickness & suffering is our baseline
Please don’t pressure us to fake being well for your comfort
@simplyleclerc It's not an option here but I actually think Hamilton is the most suspicious so far. Not sure why he'd be so certain it wasn't Kimi before he's even questioned him
@charliersmith1 Hi Charlie. I don't know you but I've been following you on here for a lil while. As an OCD+anxiety sufferer myself, I find you very inspirational. I hope things turn out well for you, lean on your loved ones and remember it's okay to ask for help. Good luck with everything x
Even with perfect care—and no two-million-person waitlist—not everyone gets better. No treatment works for everyone—whether meds, CBT, trauma therapy, or all three. Long-term psychiatric disability is real and requires long-term support. PIP and LCWRA are lifelines, not luxuries.
Force sick and disabled people into work—and you don’t save money.
You fuel suicide.
Worsen illness.
Deepen stigma.
Break lives.
This isn’t reform. It’s cruelty and it will kill time and time again.

Yuki Tsunoda has been the fastest driver in both qualifying sessions this season when you remove McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull cars from the equation ⚡️
The best of the rest.
DWP figures show that fraud in relation to PIP is so small its assessed at 0%. Meanwhile HMRC figures show in 2022-23 the tax gap, the difference between tax owed & collected, was £39.8bn
But its easier to scapegoat disabled people than go after super rich tax avoiders/evaders
The PIP assessment is already gruelling and it often isn’t awarded to those who need it.
Now, new eligibility rules will shut off vital support from up to 1.2 million disabled people.
I’m urging the government to drop this policy.
What possible justification is there for telling sick and disabled people under the age of 22 that they’re not allowed to claim a benefit that sick and disabled people over the age of 22 are entitled to claim?
I thought age discrimination was illegal under the Equality Act.
For anyone with a mental health illness who did not understand how the disabled benefits slash particularly discriminates against them, even severe mental illness, this is why and how: #DisabilityBenefits#MentalHealth#LabourAreDangerous
I wonder if there's any way of getting the European Court of Human Rights to intervene on Labour’s Evil #DisabilityBenefits Cuts?
The United Nations already feels that the UK is unfair to disabled people.
