Oil refiners are leaving California so prices will skyrocket. The biggest billionaires already left. CA is a failed State destroyed by bureaucracy, waste, and everybody gets a trophy and a handout ideology. Now we watch to see which states the leftists leaving CA destroy next.
I have blocked over 300,000 people and bots over the last 24 months. If I tolerated idiocy and time wasting, I would have 700,000 followers now. But I don’t. So consider yourself smart and competent. If you weren’t, you would be blocked too.
I know this is going to be hard to hear but if your entire portfolio consists of HIMS, HOOD, PLTR, etc you are not a serious investor. You are a fad stock investor. For a period of time, fad stocks can work. But you won’t actually be able to build a career on it. Maybe that’s OK.
It’s just speculation now but it feels like Bitcoin is looking for an obvious capitulation point before it bounces and runs to $300,000+. Could be something like Binance closing withdrawals or CZ getting arrested again and bunking with SBF. Any obvious “bad” news should do it.
Since Jan 1, Bitcoin dropped from $87,500 to $67,500 (-23%).
IREN has gone from $37.77 to $42.67 (+13%) and CIFR has gone from $14.76 to $16.28 (+10.3%).
I’m still seeing whiny retail investors saying IREN and CIFR can’t decouple from BTC when it already happened last year.
Market behaving like it’s 2022 even though prevailing conditions are completely different. This likely means that when the big bounce comes it could be quite violent. You have a bunch of people completely offsides here.
I will lay this out simply. When Bitcoin bounces, everything will go ballistic to the upside. The name of the game in this is to stay positioned. Be prepared to hold for a few weeks to a few months, adding if you can. It’s really that simple. I’ve been doing this for a long time.
If your instinct is to sell, not buy, on days like today, stick to your day job. Professional investing is not going to be a profitable career path for you.
The absolute hardest thing for people who flip bearish at bottoms is to forgive themselves. The pain, the regret, the remorse. The cost to individual lives, families, and communities is tremendous. For many, it takes decades to love themselves again. This is the human condition.
I'm going to be brutally honest here. I hate to admit it but I need the chart squigglers and kid analysts. There is no way I get these incredible entries unless they make huge mistakes. You need fear and irrationality to generate massive alpha. It's just the way the math works.

Typical?
I can see from multiple dimensions that they're trying to tire out and frustrate the bulls. Unfortunately, they seem to be running out of juice. Predicting the exact timing of reversals is impossible but what's important is to be positioned correctly when they come. Watch. Win.
Opendoor CEO @nejatian says the company is the “most AI-pilled” company in public markets with a new leadership team as good as any other major tech company.
I love that and the early results are starting to demonstrate the benefits. Bullish.
In 3-6 months, it will be nearly impossible for the average person to get a typical low to mid level white collar job at a company where they don’t already know the person making the hiring decision. It’s happening.
Trump’s advisers are begging him to stop dicking around with tariffs, overzealous immigration enforcement, and unnecessary geopolitical entanglements. They are telling him to let the economy run and secure his legacy. I was confident he would listen. But maybe he won’t. Pride.
Hearing credible chatter that after the accelerating and expanding cartel violence across Mexico today, FIFA is considering moving the upcoming World Cup games in Mexico to additional sites in the US and Canada. This is an emerging story.
