Greenpeace returns @Nestle’s plastic waste to their PH HQ, as they demand the company to shun false solutions and end single-use plastics. 📷 Kat Eusebio/Greenpeace
Although we normally continue where we left of, today @itsmeserlina picked up litter in a different location than the week before
This beach particularly was a tourist attraction and there is a villa nearby but look at the plastic waste!
Clean-up week 8(3/13/22)
What a milestone! Though I wish I could say the same with the beach situation
The tides’ ebb and flow carry marine debris that were floating in the ocean aground and vice versa
But we’re hopeful, together we can #BeatPlasticPollution#letsgrow#CleanUp
Clean-up week 7 (3/6/22) was a success, @itsmeserlina got a chance to converse with a local fisher about the plastic waste cycle occurrence on the beach and how that affects marine life😢
Got a full sack, you can see the before-and-after photos⬇️

Clean-up week 6! (2/27/22)
We retraced the route of previous week and gathered half a bag, which is a progress! We continued to cover more area and collected a full sack
We hope all of us can become more aware of our use of plastic and its waste management #letsgrow#beachcleanup
What’s happening? Beach cleaning week 5 is!🙌🏼🌊 (2/20/22)
We found plastic waste mostly accumulated in certain areas meaning somebody must had left their trash there after some *cough* nice picnic 🤦🏻♀️
Lack of warning sign? Ignorance? Both?
#letsgrow#beachcleanup
Beach clean-up week 4 (2/13/22): @itsmeserlina collected yet another sack of plastic waste on Menuh beach, Penuktukan 🤦🏻♀️
On the good side though, a nice young boy offered to help picking up the trash🥰 You go kid! #beachcleanup#growthproject
