@jenn I suspect for UAL, ST drop in load but everyone couldn't avoid them b/c there's not enough space on other carriers. Can't ignore them.

@jenn There's lots of stocks where bad news made a permanent dent in its mkt cap (Blackberry) and some where it's only a temp dip. Depends on why.

@jenn It's a paper loss, but realized if you sell your shares. It does affect unit values of mutual fds as they're valued each day at closing bid.
