A few of our favorite interactions and details from the SLIK website.
Working with brands like Qantas, Woolworths, and UFC, their old site wasn't reflecting the caliber of work they do.
The main brief was positioning them as the craft-obsessed, boundary-pushing agency they actually are.
Most founder-led brands face this problem. They're shipping great work/product but their site blends in with every competitor. Nothing immediately signals why they're the obvious choice to their customer.
SLIK needed a site that showed they sweat the details before a prospect even reads the copy.
We directed and built custom 3D interactions that respond to cursor movement, scroll-activated animations throughout, and micro-interactions on every component.
Even the page transitions use their brand lightning bolt as a custom clip-path animation (my fav btw 👀)
Every interaction was intentional to not only look good but to position them differently in a space where every agency claims to be innovative.
Your website either proves your expertise or contradicts it.

Being a creative entrepreneur is one of the loneliest things you can do.
Thats why connecting with other founders who are on the same journey always feel so special to me.
I spent an hour on a call with Frankie, founder of Highful Minds.
We talked about client work, creative process, staying authentic in a world of AI noise/slop, and what keeps us going when things get hard.
A few things from that conversation that I loved:
1) Client pushback usually leads to the best work.
Not when you're trying to please them with whatever they suggest, but when you treat it as a creative challenge where both parties are working towards the same objective: doing the best work of your life.
2) The creative process matters, but it should be loose.
Every client, every project is always different and have multiple levels of complexity. The moment your process becomes rigid, you're forcing work instead of adapting to what each project actually needs.
3) Systems keeps the passion alive.
When you're managing clients, content, finances, and everything in between, systems save the mental energy of constantly making decisions. They protect you when things collapse and helps you sustain in the long run.
4) Playing the long content game pays off.
No sponsorship deals that compromise trust or AI-generated waffle that strips away your voice. Just show up as yourself with care, while it's slower, it builds a much deeper, and genuine connection.

We just helped a client book 3 new leads every week and close over $100K in projects within a month of launching their new identity and site.
And it put the widest smile on my face
Here’s what actually made the difference:
1. We repositioned the brand to match the scale of their ambition.
Their old website spoke to small local clients like “mom-and-pop” type businesses.
But the team wanted to partner with bigger players to take on less work and more on fulfilling and intentional work.
So we rebuilt the foundation and strategy by clarifying their value, refining their story, and reshaping how they spoke to their audience from the past 25 years in business.
When your message lands in seconds, bigger clients stop scrolling.
2. We elevated perception through proof and authority.
Big brands trust those who look and act on their level.
We surfaced the results that enterprise clients actually care about: brand visibility, foot traffic, and customer engagement.
Then we showcased collaborations with names like Live Nation, Ghirardelli, North Italia, and The Cheesecake Factory, layered with press features and 5-star Google reviews.
When you build the right type of authority, it builds a strong credible first impression.
3. We unified everything through a clear and confident identity.
From refining their mission to designing a visual language that reflects it, we ensured every touchpoint told one consistent story.
And this time, we made it impossible not to take action.
We laid down clear CTAs and storytelling structure that reduces the friction for prospects to take action.
Within weeks of launch, leads, calls and dream projects started flowing in and it's THE BEST FEELING EVER.

Cinematic video snippets for our website's process section @by_monolog
As we wrap up the landing page for my studio, I’ve realized something simple but powerful:
The right visuals can completely change how a story feels.
A single, well-crafted video or image can 100x your messaging, storytelling, and the overall aesthetic of a design.
You know you're obsessed with your craft when you spend more time filming and editing a video about building a client's site than designing it.
I can't reveal everything yet, but soon you'll see the full story behind the award-winning site for https://t.co/qEyt4tDN7A.
Putting the final polish on content updates and animations for the Mammoth Murals website.
Going live real soon. Finally giving the team and their work a well-deserved digital home after 20 years of artistry and business 😎
A lot of creatives are extremely talented but their websites don’t show it.
That was the case for my latest project with Mammoth Murals.
Despite creating giant hand-painted murals that light up local city walls, their website wasn’t pulling its weight. Bookings still came in through word of mouth, but online, dream clients scrolled past without a second thought.
Prospects couldn’t tell what made them different and brought in unqualified leads.
So we rebuilt their online presence around story to attract and resonate with more ideal clients:
- A clear narrative that lands in seconds.
-Social proof woven through every page from case studies, outcomes, authority signals.
-Premium design, memorable identity and purposeful motion that makes people feel the craft.
- Clear calls-to-action that let the right clients engage and low-fit leads filter out.
Now, when someone visits their site, the value is obvious. Trust rises fast. And instead of spending energy explaining themselves, the Mammoth Murals team can focus on creating work that grows the business.

Temporary website for the next chapter of starting a web experience studio.
Very exciting things ahead. More about MONOLOG in the upcoming months.

Building the branding and visual direction for the new chapter at MONOLOG.
A web and brand experience studio that obsesses over story, detail, and digital craft for seriously ambitious, mission-driven creative brands.
In just 2 days of launching, we just got awarded a site of the day on @fwa for Mammoth Murals.
That’s 3 FWAs under the belt with infinite problems still left to solve (and that’s exactly how we like it).

If you want to stand out in a crowded market:
You need to be INSANELY obsessed with your work.
Last week, I’ve had the opportunity to share my experiences with university students as a guest speaker at @MonashUni
One particular student asked me, “what did you specifically mean by obsession on quality?” and it made me reflect deeper on why I believe in it so strongly.
Obsession is your unfair advantage.
Steve Jobs obsessed over how the inside of the iMac looked, something no customer would ever see.
Miyazaki and his team in Studio Ghibli spent a year animating a four-second scene in a 2 hour movie.
Most people would ask these two "why would you even bother?"
Because obsession is reflected in your final product. People can feel it. They can feel the care and attention that you put in, even if they can’t name it.
Many freelancers and agencies take shortcuts to "save time" just to chase revenue targets or just to get it over with.
That’s why their work blends into the noise in an increasingly crowded market.
If you want to land dream clients, if you want outcomes that actually move the needle, you can’t treat your craft like a checklist.
Every research step, every design choice, every line of code should mean something.
That’s how you create work that resonates and delivers results clients can’t ignore.
If you truly love your work, mediocrity isn’t an option.
P.S. Highly recommend everyone to read the unfair advantage book, an amazing read to discover what makes you "you".
