Later today, Parliament will dutifully approve the waiver of UGX 16,844,924,792 in tax arrears for Ankole Western University, UPPC and K-ROMA. While URA continues squeezing the life out of small traders in Gazaland and Kikuubo like their lives depend on it.
And in the same breath, our honourable members including those from Agago will spend two whole hours moving a motion to thank President Museveni for his State of the Nation Address on 4th June. For the record, about 15 people have already died of hunger in Agago. Yet their MPs will be standing in Parliament today, clapping and thanking Museveni for “talking to Ugandans.”
