Ain’t no noise pollution like Taiwan’s noise pollution cuz Taiwan’s noise pollution … is excessive, ubiquitous, unregulated, headache-inducing, energy-draining, infuriating, somehow accepted as part of normal daily life … and don’t stop. #taiwan#Taiwan#TaiwanPlus
Politics, cross-strait relations, economics, energy policy, etc. are all important. But not “scooter dog holding bagged bubble tea in muzzle” important. 🧡 #taiwan
@zeynep Yes! Speaking from Taiwan, the bottleneck is real! The question is, why won’t those in power do anything about it? Why aren’t we opening more manufacturing plants to up production?
@RollingStone Nothing inspires credibility in an article, it’s editor, and its publisher like a photo of Oklahomans dressed in winter clothes in… September???! Jesus, Rolling Stone. Get your shit together.
@redandexpert@TomCottonAR@RepTomSuozzi@marcorubio@RepMcCaul On the surface, sure. The larger looming issue it’s nested in? Not so much. Obv with certain ‘capitulations’ TW could all the Sinovacs they could ever want. Thanks but no thanks...
@redandexpert Same for Trump supporters. Although, in neither case should “taking them seriously” absolve them of consequences for the batshit crazy behavior they are capable of.
The Breakers and the Gamers, yes. But what about the biggest faction of all: The Gamed. The horde of Trump voters who somehow never realized how much they have been played by this scumbag.
@redandexpert It says nothing negative about democracies. The top countries in terms of pandemic response seem to have been New Zealand, Taiwan, and South Korea. All democracies. The U.S. in its current iteration seems to be trying to shed its mantle of ‘leading democracy’ as fast as it can.
