How Should Investors Respond to the Sea Change in US Monetary Policy?
Yesterday I joined our friends @RomaineBostick and @kgreifeld on @BloombergTV to discuss the Fed’s potentially historic policy pivot.
The Fed’s revised monetary policy framework is consistent with our call for structural reform at the institution and risks blowing bubbles in stocks, gold, and Bitcoin over a long-term time horizon.
The Fed’s justification for lowering the policy rate is consistent with @42Macro's call that the FOMC will lean into the long-term outlook for productivity growth to implement increasingly — and perhaps unjustifiably — dovish monetary policy.
The Fed’s pivot to expansionary balance sheet policy is consistent with our call that the FOMC will sacrifice Main Street to save Wall Street by restarting QE during a nationwide affordability crisis, and suggests the institution is more focused on solving the repo market problem that our Macro Weather Model had identified — at least on a transitory basis.
If Reserve Management Operation Purchases (RMOP) are not temporary, this is the official — albeit tepid — start of Paradigm D. Powell’s commentary in his presser supports our resoundingly bullish inclination.

Do yourself a favor today and read about @ReiNetwork0x
It may change the AI ecosystem more than you can imagine
Dont wait for the masses to wake up
Few.
$REI
Intelligence without persistent memory is a hallucination engine.
Your LLM forgets yesterday. That makes it dangerous, not smart.
@ReiNetwork0x builds systems that remember, learn, and compound knowledge.
The future is cognitive permanence.
Rei (@ReiNetwork0x) rebuilds AI from the ground up
• Core solves AI's context problem by learning instead of staying frozen after training
• Units remember conversations and becomes more useful with use
• Outputs feel differentiated over generic responses

What is Core? Understanding Our Own Approach to a Synthetic Brain Architecture (ELI5 Edition)
Core is not an LLM: Core is not a fine-tuned LLM, not a new LLM, and not an LLM at all. Instead, Core is a multimodal synthetic brain, a fundamentally different type of AI architecture.
Key Terminology to Understand Core:
1. Synthetic Brain: Core is a unified cognitive system where multiple AI models and algorithms work as interconnected neural components within a single architecture. Think of it as a digital brain with specialized regions, not a collection of tools.
2. The Bowtie Architecture: Core's memory substrate that stores information as both semantic vectors AND abstract concept nodes, creates connections between seemingly unrelated concepts, and enables genuine concept formation, not just pattern matching.
3. Reasoning Cluster: The cognitive part of Core that orchestrates all thinking processes, making decisions about which neural pathways to activate for any given task, The reasoning cluster is deeply multi-modal and works via parallel processing and sophistication biases.
Everybody can't go.
This is the hardest lesson. You'll spend years trying to bring people with you. Family. Friends. Teammates. People you love and you respect. You want to set them free.
You'll share what you've learned. Show them what you've built. Explain how you escaped. But not everyone will follow.
Some are too comfortable in their chains. They can't see the cage they're in. They would rather complain about the system than leave it.
Some don't want the responsibility that comes with freedom.
They will choose familiar suffering over unfamiliar possibility. The path to freedom is always narrow. The crowd is always going the other direction.
The job isn't to drag people to freedom. Your job is to be free yourself. Show them what's possible. To leave the door open.
But not everybody will walk through it.
And everybody can't go.
Spent this rainy afternoon putting Rei Core 0.3 (v0.5.0) through an extreme stress test using GPT-4o’s own prompts to throw the kitchen sink at it. Then had GPT create a deep-research report on the findings, emphasizing it to be critical if it deemed necessary
It outperformed GPT-4 and Claude in metacognition, memory, and recursive reasoning (and it's only 8 months old)
$REI is sitting at a $100M market cap. If OpenAI shipped it today, it’d be a multi-billion valuation overnight. Instead, most haven’t even heard of it, or chosen to ignore it
It remembers. It improves mid-convo. It passed paradox traps, invented new logic frameworks, and reverse-engineered other models. $REI is the most asymmetric bet in AI right now. (yes, I have a bag)
