The hardest part of entrepreneurship ?
Feeling like you’re doing everything alone.
No roadmap.
No one to tell you what to do.
No one to make the hard decisions for you.
No one to tell you if you’re on the right track.
No guaranteed outcome.
No shortcuts.
So you keep figuring it out.
One step at a time.
I almost stopped posting on X.
I kept thinking
“What’s the point ?”
A few likes.
A few replies.
Nothing really happening.
Then I realized that’s the wrong way to look at it.
You never know who’s reading.
One post can lead to a conversation.
One conversation can lead to an opportunity.
One connection can completely change your path.
Revenue is the least interesting part of entrepreneurship.
Tell me what you sacrificed.
Tell me what failed.
Tell me what changed your mind.
Tell me what almost made you quit.
That’s the real story.
How much would you realistically pay to have a brand new Instagram and TikTok account properly warmed up before you start posting ?
Assume it’s done well to improve the chances of reaching real viewers from day one.
Looking for recommendations
Who do you recommend for :
TikTok & Instagram account warm-up/growth ?
Hook & content strategy packages ?
AI UGC creators/tools that actually convert ?
If you’ve worked with someone (or a tool) that delivered real results for app marketing, I’d love to hear your recommendations.
For those who have successfully grown an app :
Where did most of your users come from ?
Which platform has driven the most traffic and downloads for you ?
Starting a business is hard.
The numbers are low, people around you don’t really believe in it, and you’re the only one still holding on to the vision.
And then comes the constant hesitation:
Do I keep pushing ?
Do I build something else on the side while waiting for it to work ?
Or do I stop and move on ?
No one is there to tell you what the right decision is.
You’re just trying to figure it out alone, while still believing that somehow, you’re going to make it work.
You vibe-coded your app alone.
You built the product, fixed the bugs, handled the App Store, the design, the screenshots, the pricing, everything.
The app has potential.
But now you’re stuck on the hardest part : getting people to actually subscribe.
At that point, do you keep learning marketing by yourself, or do you pay someone who already knows how to get users ?
For those building apps
Would you publicly share your app on X while you’re still improving it & trying to get users?
Or would you rather keep it private ?
I submitted a simple app update just to refresh the screenshots and visuals.
Apple reviewed it and somehow found completely new issues to reject the submission for 🥹
My Apple Developer Program subscription renews on February 15.
That means I have around 7 months before I have to pay for it again.
So the real question is : what is the most efficient way to make this subscription profitable before then ?
If you had this timeline, what would you focus on first to make the app worth the cost ?
After building my app by myself, it’s honestly so tempting to hire someone to handle the marketing, content, videos, ads, etc.
Because building the product is already a huge thing.
But then you realize the real work starts after launch : distribution, content, testing angles, learning what converts, showing up every day.
Part of me wants to delegate it all.
But another part of me knows that doing it myself first is probably the best way to understand my users, my messaging, and what actually makes people care.
