@carygolomb Why should a licensing deal affect if people already bought something? If the dealership sold me a Toyota and a couple years ago stopped selling Toyotas should they just have the right to take my Toyota away from me???
@carygolomb Lowkey valve genuinely misunderstood the market. People buy consoles because of ease of use and they are cheap relative to a pc. People buy PCs for mixed use and better performance and options relative to a console. Trying to achieve both made it appeal to neither
@CatBotPrime@NormBreaker3 Goal wasn't just to not get off the couch, but achieve an experience as close to a console as possible. It took some time and money. But I was able to get cec working with an adapter. Wake from sleep on windows requires a wireless adapter that doesn't show up as xinput
We're criticized for "trying to return to life as it was in the desert of Arabia in the 7th century."
Yet, around the world, there are people who revive ancient ways of living, whether in India, Nepal, China, Turkey, Africa, Europe, the Americas, and they're praised for it.
They claim that ancient ways of living possess healing properties for the body, mind, and soul.
They spend millions trying to revive ancient languages and cultures around the world.
There are extremely popular, global annual festivals and conferences for reenacting ancient ways of life.
However, when that ancient way of life is Islam, there's a problem. It's such a problem that the advocates must be surveilled and imprisoned, laws must be drafted to prevent its financing, and militaries must be mobilized to stop its being fulfilled.
