I’ve lost count of the number of times I heard clients outrightly say that they don’t want greenery in their homes because they don’t want to bear the cost of maintenance over time.

Well, that cost you want to ‘save’, you will continue to bear somewhere else for the entire life cycle of the building.

Trees can be used to strategically provide shade to your home, keeping it cooler and reducing indoor temperatures.

Shrubs and grasses keep the floor of your compound cooler, preventing heat transfer and also helps to absorb rainwater after a heavy downpour.

Also, building regulations require a particular percentage of your total land area to be covered with greenery.

Always include greenery in your building designs 🙏🏻
