Was in a bookstore yesterday in SF and asked the staff where romance would be. "We don't have a romance section." So I clarified, where would I find them, then? In fiction? "We don't stock romance novels." 🥲🥲🥲

I had a dream we found these awesome condos, not realizing that @machinegunkelly had bought and renovated them. When we moved in, he was like, “Hey guys, I’m MGK. I’m a big supporter of affordable housing.” Idk much about MGK but now my brain’s convinced he’s a great landlord. 😂

@KavalAuthorActs Creationists generally believe they existed, but at the same time as humans, within the last few thousand years. I know because I went to a creationist museum as a field trip, during an evolution course in college… for science purposes 😂

I’ve been torn between two aesthetics for my current WIP and had been trying to merge them, but it was clogging my mind. I finally worked out how to separate the story from the former aesthetic … it’s going to take heavy rewrites. 🥲

@DiedraDrake @SteSierra I skipped prologues when I was a child because a teacher told me that they were optional. Later, I read a book where the prologue had important information—I think a John Green novel?—and quickly realized that the prologues were perhaps my favorite part
