for anyone curious about the stack: React Native + Expo, Supabase for everything backend, RevenueCat for subs, Claude Haiku 4.5 for receipt OCR

the OCR part was the most fun to build honestly. the prompt is 80+ lines because it has to handle receipts from any country in any language. it reads every line item, not just the total. detects the currency and converts it automatically

API cost for all that? under $10/mo. the whole app runs under $60
