Contrary to the reports on social media, I didn't buy any house in Enugu or elsewhere. I do not need a house outside of Anambra for now, and I am committed to living in my house in Onitsha. The houses I am interested in building, for now, are hospitals and schools. -PO

Thanks for the advice.
A few UK citizens stranded in Nigeria have resorted to charter flights to get back to the UK.
Please advise if this is what you recommend people do since there is absolutely no information on evacuation flights coming from you.
Thanks to those who have emailed [email protected]
If you received our auto response, please be assured that we received your email, are aware of your situation & logged your request.
You will hear from us once details of flights are available.
@UKinNigeria Thanks for the update.
It will be good to know how many of the 4000 are just short term visitors who need to go back to their families in UK
@UKinNigeria I understand that Lufthansa and Air France picked up German and French citizens from Lagos yesterday. If They were able to achieve this then I am curious to know why it is so difficult for the UK government to follow suit.
@UKinNigeria@CatrionaLaing Thanks for the update.
With the news of the flight today, can we assume the negotiations with Nigerian government to allow evacuation flight is now over and successful?
If so, when will the flights for the rest of us happen?

@UKinNigeria@foreignoffice Thanks for your efforts, much appreciated. But we will really like to have more tangible information like the projected date of travel, conveyance to the airport while the curfew is on in Lagos and Abuja, how much notice we will have to get to the airport, etc.
