No post , post the race as yet. I think i know why….

I have been annoyed all evening after watching the race - something was not - quite right, but I could not put my finger on it. Then it dawned on me this morning.

On team radio - they said to Lando ‘a lot of teams are looking at a one stop strategy’ and after enquiring if he should do same his response was ‘yeah sure’ - no questions asked, no curiosity. Scripted perhaps
But yet no one else followed suit? Why so? Because no other team ever said they would do so….

Pure theatrical bullsh$t from Lando and team McLaren. The plan was always to have a one stop strategy for Lando. The plan was always to lure you to box in traffic. The plan was always for Lando to hold back on pace, until after you pitted, and then get back onto pace to maintain or improve the gap, until the end. Lando letting you come within seconds at the end of the race - all part of the illusion. This was not a ‘spur of the moment’ idea like they sold to the whole world, no, it was planned and executed to perfection from the start after he bottled qualifying.

You are being sold down the river by team McLaren who is playing the subtle game of illusion race after race. Lando is their guy - make no mistake. And in a game where 1/100ths dedicate the outcome - they are playing to win

Find another team Oscar. You are walking with Judas. They have better actors than the F1 movie

@kubizza @notracingpoint Piastri would have passed Verstappen with or without DRS. It was in fact, an exquisite overtake. He then quickly opened a 13s lead, (to be taken away by the safety car), then a five second lead. Piastri driving in the wet was a masterclass, until the ‘breakdown’ occurred.
