So I've been messing with Blockout for a few hours a night. I've never used a program like this before.

I'm trying to put together a very simple shot of two people sitting at a restaurant table and have a wide shot with a very slow push in. Nothing too complicated. I figure if I can understand this, I'll be able to do more complicated stuff.

I was able to place the table and two figures sitting on two chairs. Everything is nice and centered.

I'm having trouble on how to place the camera at Mark 1 and Mark 2. The initial camera setup is off to the side and I think I'm able to grab it and center it correctly as Mark 1.

What I'm having trouble with is figuring out how to properly place Mark 2. I guess I move the camera in to the 2nd position and create the 2nd Mark? I then preview the shot to see if it's what I want? There's a lot going on the main screen but it's really the preview pane I should be looking at?

I'm guessing all these functions are similar to how other applications handle this. So should I be looking at Blender tutorials to try and figure this out?

Point me in the right direction.
