I have a fun GSAP experiment on my mind.
The waveforms are going to morph into the text, and that would be my CTA for the final website.
let's see how it looks once I code
researched 40+ user objections and realized most pricing sections answer questions nobody's asking
so i rebuilt mine to handle the actual hesitations people have before buying
pricing, v2
each of these is a selectable tab that demonstrates a specific use case.
the product mock-up is an interactive, clickable demo with static data so users can play with the app before committing.
no signup walls. no 'request a demo' friction. just letting them try it.
66 days in and i finally stopped exploring
went from framer templates to trying webflow, blender, next.js, gsap. tried everything to find what stuck.
turns out i don't just want to design pretty sites.
i want to build them.
so now i'm shipping an app in next.js while taking on design work. design-engineer path instead of pure templates.
still chasing $5K a month, just with code now.
---
my goals for this month:
- finish off the app
- finish off voicepen development
- finish off new portfolio
--
everyone's obsessed with illustrations and gradients but video backgrounds might be the most underrated branding move for landing pages
was cloning n2ws(.)com for practice and noticed they use compressed video loops throughout. subtle, but it completely changes how the site feels.
could work as both aesthetic and brand identity.
two months ago i paid $800 to learn framer.
today i'm still at $0 and learned four other tools instead.
turns out exploring was the point.
day 60 for reaching $5K a month with web design.
I was exploring and entertaining all of my curiosities.
To find signal within noise.
along the way picked up webflow, blender and next.js + gsap
finally decided on the direction i wanna go.
now it's time to run up projects and start outreaching.
Amongst all this exploration that I've been doing for the past 55 days, I finally found my signal. I like creating apps, designing UI and even user experience, not just beautiful interfaces. I'm going to stick with NextJS and GSAP. I also have an inkling towards Shopify themes. That is something I might explore down the line.
