“You can’t be doing illegal work. You can’t come to a school road and start apprehending and harassing parents who are dropping off or picking up their children. You’re supposed to work on federal roads, yet you’ve come into the streets.”
~ A man confronts a Delta State Traffic Management Authority (DESTMA) officer for leaving the federal road and operating on a street.
We used to be a great nation full of jolly people mahn. We used to have a good sense of community and togetherness. APC have really ruined us. Now we just wake up living hopeless lives full of triggers. Angry at everything and everyone while being pitched against one other. Sad.
My biggest fear for Nigeria is no longer how bad things are.
It is that the Nigerians who have never known anything better are becoming the majority.
They have no memory of what functional looks like. No reference point for what they should expect.
And you cannot demand a standard you don’t even know exists.
Everytime Peter Obi speaks, we question his ability to rule this country. Meanwhile, we have Tinubu that neither speaks nor knows how to rule, trying to govern those with tongue and brains another 4 years.
I love how people are delusional in Nigeria.
In a country where the price of a liter of fuel is approaching ₦1500, you should be grateful that it isn't a camel that's coming to pick you up.
We love majoring on the minors. You're paying ₦6500 for a ride and DEMANDING AC??
