Making Android apps. Currently maintaining the Open-Source Podcast Manager @antennapod, but also contributing to other projects like Baikal Server or K-9 Mail.
@a_m__r@antennapod If it shows a dotted line, that's probably because your VPN pretends to be a mobile network even if you actually are on WiFi. Check out the "allow downloads over mobile network" setting in AntennaPod. If it just fails, it means that your VPN blocks the episode download.
@JGP02500903 @TheRebeccaWeber@rumblevideo This message means that the podcast creator is serving a broken podcast feed. The most likely reason is that they did not properly encode an "&" character. They can find more about the error by visiting a podcast feed validator, such as https://t.co/cLzL4kztHw
Telegram has full access to all of the content of group chats and regular one-to-one chats due to lack of end-to-end encryption. Their opt-in secret chats use homegrown end-to-end encryption with weaknesses. Deleting the content from the app likely won't remove all copies of it.
This week we released AntennaPod 3.0 – three reasons why this version rocks 🤟
◦ It personalises your experience while maintaining your privacy
◦ Our Material Design interface adapts to your wallpaper colours
◦ You can use multi-select in the Inbox to clean it up even faster
We're proud to release the next major version of AntennaPod!
After updating to version 3.0 you'll be greeted with a new screen – tailored for you, respecting your privacy. View the latest episodes, next in queue, your classics and more. Bonus: most screens are now one tap away.
@camsticky@antennapod This usually means that either the podcaster uploaded a broken media file, or something messes with your network connection (eg. captive portals, like these "accept ToC" pages before you can access the internet)

Google has removed @k9mail_app from the Play Store for a “policy violation” again. They say they need to be given “app credentials” before they’ll republish it. It’s…an open source email client.
