How BYTEMINE works, in one post.

THE MINERS
5000 animated units. Every trait is rolled on chain at mint and stored in the contract: a find chance for each of the nine data classes, a speed rating and a power boost. No offchain spreadsheets, the site and the game read the same numbers you can read yourself.

THE DATA
Nine classes of lost data, from common Corrupted Sectors to The Signal, the rarest thing a unit can dig up. Each class has its own drop rate and its own weight, so a single Signal find is worth thousands of common ones.

MINING
Activate a unit and it digs nonstop, no clicking, no energy bars. While it mines, the NFT is locked in your wallet. You can unlock it any time to trade it, mined data stays banked on the unit itself, so a miner never loses what it found.

THE MARKET
Everything you dig can be sold to the onchain market for $DATA. Prices are not fixed. The market has a demand meter that refills over time and drains when people sell. Sell into high demand and you get full price. Dump everything at once and demand drops for everyone until it recovers. Timing your sales is the game.

SEASONS
Mining runs in seasons with a fixed $DATA pool. A season is opened by one transaction and ends on its own timer. New seasons come with fresh pools.

$DATA
Total supply 10,000,000, all of it placed in contracts at deploy. 20 percent in the season one market, 20 percent reserved for future seasons, 60 percent for liquidity. The deployer wallet holds zero.

WHAT IS NEXT
Mint on @opensea, reveal, then mining opens. After season one, liquidity goes in and trading unlocks with a launch tax that decays fast to a flat fee.

Stake = $1, that's true. Claim = $0.1 per data type, swap = $0.1 per data type, unstake = $10 mid-season and $1 after the mining season ends.

You can stake for $1 and then at the end of the season claim, swap and unstake for $1 each. That's $4 total for the entire season.

If you have a lot of NFTs, you still pay $1 per claim and swap, but how often you do it is entirely up to you. You can claim and swap whenever you want or wait until the end of the season.

The $10 unstake fee is there to discourage people from leaving mid-season, but after the season ends, it's only $1
