@hunvreus Especially on mobile, I believe it was originally created to distinguish local access and maybe tool access (I am not sure about tool access), but on mobile, it doesn't create any meaningful separation.

Actually, Kyle went first, and it was a pretty educational video about the current state of AI, using Theo as a main example because, as you may see if you look at his latest (and general) work and activity, he's operating like a zombie. I have watched videos of others as well; they just straight-up copy Kyle for the views.

@serhatgpt @hqmank They only mention it as an extension, not ACP, I think. It was like that when it was geminicli. Even if it is, I don't trust Google there; it's not a risk worth taking, considering the loss of a Google account, and not just the Gemini part.

@karl_zylinski One other thing is package management, which I stand with Odin but no one in the AI world will research or might even prompt AI to do research to find the packages that they need and download. If packages do not matter, then you are nearly always starting from scratch every time

@karl_zylinski I love Odin, it is one of the best languages I have worked with. For me where it doesnt hold up in the LLM world is that it does not cross compile, and I think this is where Rust wins, even though it doesnt have comparable compile time to Odin, it sure does compile everywhere.

DHH, I love you. You are a great accelerationist, in my opinion. Nearly all of your recent tweets are about Rust. Even the founder of Rust didn't try to push the language this much. Can you please slow down? Nothing really changes; let's slow down and enjoy the process. The selection of the programming language will not change human advancement 10x; it will help, yes, but in the long run, even Rust can be replaced with anything.
