Maybe Arc browser should be open-sourced by @browsercompany so the community can maintain it.
Tried multiple browsers since Arc went into maintenance mode and still can't switch away even with all its quirks right now.
A lot, for instance context rot, in large codebases or for big features it sometimes just skip important things or just implement them naively.
Problem is if you’re not technical to know something is wrong, you can’t steer it correctly.
To ship production grade software, you need to be technical to even know how to instruct the AI correctly.
I’m not talking about simple one-off personal apps or websites here.
Taste is the new moat.
In a world where anyone can build anything with AI, what differentiates good software from great software is taste.
What do you think?
Arc browser redefined web browsers and then threw away their lead to focus on Dia.
Now they are playing catch up at their own game, along side everyone else.
