@_CodeLife_ I meant to contrast pointing/orientation based with tracked movements. My understanding is gyro&accelerometer sensors can be subject to a lot of drift. Anyway I agree stuff exists it just seems to not get popular eg. https://t.co/MsuwvvaCHL
@_CodeLife_ I seem to remember 3D / 6DOF mice like this, but I wonder if you might be better off trying to find a VR controller that can be made to work (some may need separate trackers) though I worry moving it precisely in space to point at a 2D screen might get very tiring.
@AskPinterest Pintrest refuses to remove my email address from a 3rd parties account, because that 3rd party is in Pintrest's judment a spammer. I don't see how Pintrest is acting according to it's privacy policy. Terrible company.
@_CodeLife_ Claude said it was mean, and so I asked it to write a response: Please pretend to be an even less plasible product called "Github Roaster Roaster" that roasts the roasts from "Github Roaster"... it decided to code it up as React HTML on its own initiative
@_CodeLife_ Sorry, it wasn't that XD I was trying to guess where the issue was and I failed. I didn't pick up on the way it said the numbers as being the issue (I guess I just expect AI to be a bit quirky in stuff like that)
I take it you also saw about Google Gemini "threatening" someone?
@_CodeLife_ It's like being an inside cat asking a human to go outside, only for it not to be the outside you had wanted (eg. raining) and you change your mind (like this was not the social media dopamine hit I had come here for, pls do better website)
@_CodeLife_ I recall noticing & asking about why it was a "p" as a kid, but I'd heard it alot on TV& advertising so I knew it was "Disney". I failed to notice that the major cheese brand in Australia, Bega cheese, has a logo that looks like Beqa. Brand recognition is not like reading I guess
@_CodeLife_ 1993: On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog
2023: Y'all better be humans and not bots
Sincerely though congratulations! 🥳
I think I found you through Youtube recommendations, but it might've been Twitch
@_CodeLife_@AnthropicAI oh no, I think that is actually "sycophancy". When/if it learns such answers lead to a reward and are easier than doing the hard task it's a reward hack that ultimately hurts perforamce I think
