A quick pause to my #twitterBreak. @Strava & @StravaSupport — *make separate activities* for road bike and MTB. Are walking & hiking the same? Are resort skiing & backcountry? No, you distinguish those. Yet cycling is your main event. Time to catch up on that app programming.
Dear Albert, @UnitedAirlines_ thank you for your help checking me in a half a minute late @flyONT , and getting my bag on the flight, with wine gifts for my friends. I’m sorry you had a rough day yesterday, I hope your day today is better.
In Colorado, the wolves are coming home—thanks to a narrowly approved a ballot initiative to reintroduce them into the southern Rockies https://t.co/QhXcvzSbnX
@_scientistt One of my non-science role models is Lynn Hill. She became a top rock climber when that was only a space for men. She was the first *person* to free climb The Nose on El Cap. A year later, she did it again in under 24 hours. And she seems like a wonderful human being.
I hope y'all don't mind me posting some #BlackBirdersWeek pics.
Nature is my favorite place to be, & I've been fortunate enough use my PhD to travel & be #BlackInNature across the world. Photography lets me capture a piece of Nature to share with others who can't travel with me
And more thanks – PhD @ucsb...
Prof. Doug Steigerwald – econometrics guru. His research group nurtured me to the finish line (& took us hiking). That constructive feedback still guides me. He happened to send these pics this morn, #madeMyMonth & inspired this thread, #THANKYOU.
While I’m at it... more thanks – College...
Dr. Zsuzsanna Szaniszlo – math genius. She believed in my skills, introduced me to research as a #freshman@usd. Her class coincided with my #epiphany to be a prof (true story). I need to write you a letter, for now, #THANKYOU. @ValpoU
