As a woman, I sometimes think about the freedoms I move through without noticing, the freedom to learn, work, speak, dream, and choose. Then I think about women in Afghanistan who have been forced to carry burdens no woman should have to bear.

Their stories remind me that feminism isn't just about our individual experiences. It's about recognizing that the rights of women anywhere matter to women everywhere.

May we continue to speak up, pay attention, and show solidarity with Afghan women whose courage deserves more than silence.
